Daddy Freeze Reacts to Rema’s N105M Donation to Christ Embassy in Edo

Afrobeats sensation Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, made headlines on Sunday with a generous donation of ₦105 million to a Christ Embassy church in Benin, Edo State. The donation took place during a Sunday service, where Rema expressed his gratitude to the church for its unwavering support and guidance throughout his journey.

In a heartfelt speech that has since gone viral, Rema stated, “I’m not here to give myself any accolades or glory. I’m here to give God the glory. I feel like it is important to give back because the church has embraced, prayed for me, and has kept me very consistent with my spirit.”

As earlier reported, the donation was broken down into several pledges for the church.

Rema’s gesture has sparked conversations across social media, with many applauding his act of gratitude and generosity. However, it also led to a reaction from media personality Daddy Freeze, who took to social media to clarify the nature of Rema’s donation. Daddy Freeze emphasized that Rema did not merely give to the church but was giving back to it, explaining, “NO, Rema did not GIVE to the Church; He gave BACK to the Church. When his family was going through a rough patch, the church was there for them financially. He is now returning the favor. There is a huge difference.”

Why did he give to that particular church? Because when he L0$T his dad, the church opened a shop for his mum. That was part of what helped his folks put food on the table during a difficult period.

“So, unlike you going to sow your seed in church, Rema is taking part of his ‘Harvest’ to those who sowed their seed in him.

“As far as I’m concerned, he should even give them more. God bless the pastor that sowed into his family,” Daddy Freeze stated.
