WhatsApp is introducing longer voice message compatibility in status updates

WhatsApp users will get access to the Voice Status feature once they update their apps on the Google Play Store or App Store.

WhatsApp users are now able to share longer voice messages in their status updates as WhatsApp is introducing support for one-minute recordings instead of the usual 30 seconds.
After working on the feature in 2022, WhatsApp officially launched the “Voice Status” feature in February 2023.
Users now have the ability to send voice messages that are up to one minute long, eliminating the need for multiple consecutive updates to communicate a message, as was required prior to this new advancement.

To use this function, you must first update your app on either the Google Play Store or App Store in order to send voice messages that are one minute in length.
This entails that, unlike certain features that are automatically included in your app, you must manually ensure that your WhatsApp is up to date or configure it to automatically receive the latest updates from Google Play Store or App Store.

The new WhatsApp feature allows users to share more meaningful and extended clips. For sharing events, announcements, or any moments that need more than the previous 30-second limit to capture, this update appears to be especially beneficial.

Meta app has revealed many new features from completely reforming the interface to permitting users to mention contacts privately.
